Dreamscape goes national...

It is said that one's reputation goes before one, and that certainly appears to be the case for Dreamscape Solutions, the professional website design agency based in Manchester.

Over the last four weeks, we have been charged with creating websites for Technique Property Services based in Redruth, Cornwall; Folio Charter, and exclusive, luxury yacht chartering company specialising in Ferretti and Custom Line yachts, located in Bournemouth; and Women in Business, an entrepreneurial networking group aimed at the businesswomen of Northern Ireland.

Dreamscape Solutions beat off stiff competition from seven other Belfast-based web design agencies and it is testimony to our professionalism that Susan McCambridge, the co-ordinator and director of WIB Northern Ireland states, “Bernard and his team have displayed an excellent understanding of all our requirements and demonstrated a flexible, professional approach to delivering the project on budget and on schedule for our launch date at the end of June.” To read more about how we came to win this account, the CIDS website has published an article about us.

With our net being cast further and further afield, it is hoped that word of our designs which spread the length and breadth of the country - and who knows? Maybe Dreamscape Solutions will go global in the not too distant future!

What news for Dreamscape Solutions?

Professional website design agency, Dreamscape Solutions, based in Manchester, has been heading up the news just recently with industry articles and news of new account wins.

Bernard McCabe of creative digital media-company Dreamscape Solutions, believes that many businesses can make a return online but do not use the opportunity before them. In this article he describes how well honed tactics, rather than vast sums of capital, can generate a substantial return on investment.

More and more businesses are realising that generating a substantial return on investment online is really possible. The wide scale adoption of broadband by business and consumer alike has helpedthe online scene mature from the ashes of the dotcom crash to a viable business proposition.

uSwitch, an online shopping comparison service, estimates that by 2020 online sales will stand at £142 billion. If that seems a long way off to you, look at what’s happening right now. Today more than eight million households in the UK spend two hours a day shopping online. In 2005, sales according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) over the Internet were £103 billion and those figures are going to seem woefully small in years to come.

I will quote one last figure from the ONS that I think will surprise you. More business buy over the Internet than sell; the ratio is approximately 4:1. And 56% of all companies buy online. Quite a market I am sure you will agree.

If you are a business that wants to seriously consider trading online or have tried and not succeeded then I believe the following guidance will help transform your results.

More photos from the tennis...

Dreamscape Solutions was proud to have the company of Mr Ian Dunkerly, Customer Relationship Manager of Business Link. Ian has put much quality business our way and we are looking forward to a thriving, professional relationship with him in the future.

We were also pleased to welcome Mr Mark Hunt, Managing Director of Monarch Recruitment, one of the UK's largest recruitment agencies. Mark is both a client and friend to Dreamscape Solutions and we were glad to have his company during the wet tennis tournament!

A Wet Day at the Tennis!

Dreamscape Solutions attended the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament at Caulderstones Park, Liverpool, yesterday, accompanied by guests from Office Angels, Visual Motive, Infinity Learning, Monarch Recruitment, Business Link Northwest and Artisan Marketing Communications.

Unfortunately, rain stopped play all day, but the organisers made up for the lack of sporting action by providing musical entertainment and a fashion show from Impact whose models wore the latest fashions from Liverpool boutique, Cricket, a favourite amongst the Liverpool and Manchester United WAGs!

We were also graced by the presence of international tennis stars Bjorn Borg, Pat Cash and Mansour Bahrami who were interviewed by the organisers and also provided the guests with autographs. Speeches came from the Wimbledon umpire Alan Mills amongst others.

Although it was disappointing not to see any live action this Thursday, Saturday is looking much more hopeful as the skies start to clear. Dreamscape Solutions will be in attendance tomorrow, accompanied by a number of friends and clients.

We are also thrilled to announce that we have secured Associate Sponsorship of the 2008 Liverpool International Tennis Tournament - and we are hoping that the weather will be better next year!
