Tickets for this years event go on sale Wednesday January 16th as Liverpool starts the celebrations for European Capital of Culture 2008.

Caroline Wozniacki (2006 Ladies' Champion and 2007 finalist) will return as well as last year's finalist Vince Spadea and heart-throb Robert Kendrick.

Meanwhile event sponsors and web partners Dreamscape Solutions are busy preparing plans to upgrade the Liverpool Tennis website servers as this years online visitor statistics are expected to be larger than ever.

Last years event caught us by surprise. The volume of traffic on the website each day during the event was astonishing. Luckily we have contingency plans for such instances and where able to share the data load across a number of servers for the the site and the SQL databse.
